📢 About Common (5-i) Courses

Common (5-i) Courses are offered in two ways: Face-to-Face and Distance Education:

  • Face-to-Face Education: Held on Saturdays in OMÜ Faculty of Medicine classrooms; attendance is mandatory. No fee is required for face-to-face courses, and exams will also be conducted face-to-face.
  • Distance Education: Courses will be delivered online via eders.omu.edu.tr, where course materials can be accessed. Midterm exams are online (sinav.omu.edu.tr), while final and make-up exams will be held face-to-face at our vocational school. Distance education courses are subject to a fee (200 TL per course), which will be defined after the course registration period.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Delivered online via eders.omu.edu.tr and is free of charge.
💻 UZEM Announcement: Internet and Network Technologies (UZEM) Program courses and exams are conducted according to the schedule and format specified at uzem.omu.edu.tr.

🎓 About Social Elective Courses (SSD)

Within the scope of the Weekly Course Schedules, Social Elective Courses (SSD) will be held face-to-face at our Vocational School on Wednesdays according to the schedule below:

📅 2025-2026 Spring Semester registration renewal processes will end on February 15, 2026.

Payment Info: Tuition/Fees (if any) can be paid at T.C. Ziraat Bank branches, via mobile banking, or through ATMs.

You can complete your registration via the student information screen at ubys.omu.edu.tr.

⚠️ Registration Approval Process
  • Ensure your course selections are complete.
  • After selection, do not forget to click "Send for Advisor Approval".
  • Be sure to check your "Advisor Approval" status in the system before the registration period ends.
