A "Narcoyouth" training was organized in our Vocational School's conference hall on March 18, 2025, in collaboration with the OMÜ Addiction Management Application and Research Center Directorate and the Samsun Provincial Police Department / Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch Directorate, with the aim of increasing addiction awareness, within the scope of the National Strategy Document and Action Plan on Combating Drugs (2024-2028) and the Vision Document and Action Plan on Protection and Strengthening of the Family (2024-2028).
The event, attended by our Vocational School's academic staff and first-year students, featured Mesut Bekir Nevik and Burak Baloğlu, personnel of the Samsun Provincial Police Department / Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch Directorate, as speakers, and provided information to the students on topics such as:
* What is a narcotic substance?
* What is substance addiction?
* Reasons for starting drugs
* The cycle of addiction
* Effects on an addicted person
* The "UYUMA" application
* The importance of combating narcotic crimes, etc.
