Training for Forest Fire Volunteers

A **"Forest Fire Volunteer Training"** was provided at our Vocational School.

The Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate provided **"Forest Fire Volunteer Training"** to the academic staff and students of our Vocational School and Forestry Department, as part of the 2024 forest fire fighting training sessions.
During the training, which was attended by the academic staff and students of our Vocational School's Forestry Department, Deputy Director Tuncay Patan, and Forest Chiefs Oğuzhan Cindoruk and Ahmet Razi Çalışkan from the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate, demonstrated the necessary procedures during forest fires, the use of tools and equipment during a fire, and how to intervene. They also introduced the fire engines (arozöz) and the bags and equipment of the fire first intervention workers.
At the end of the training—where Deputy Director Tuncay Patan and Forest Chiefs Oğuzhan Cindoruk and Ahmet Razi Çalışkan from the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate served as trainers, and our Vocational School Deputy Director Lecturer Cemil ÖZDEMİR, Head of the Forestry Department Lecturer Dr. Cemile ÇAKIR, and our Forestry Department students voluntarily participated—students who apply and meet the necessary conditions will be awarded a **"Forest Fire Volunteer Certificate."**
