A comprehensive evaluation meeting was held within the scope of the MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board) accreditation application, which our Vocational School aims to realize in 2026.
Broad-Based Consultation: The meeting, attended by our Vocational School administration and academic staff, was held with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Çetin KURNAZ, Rector's Advisor and OMÜ Education-Instruction Coordinator Prof. Dr. Emine ŞENDURUR, Prof. Dr. Yüksel TERZİ, Prof. Dr. Yeliz KINDAP TEPE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağatay YILDIRIM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice TÜRKTEN, and the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Necati TOMAL.
Emphasis on Continuous Improvement and Quality: During the meeting, the fundamental criteria, preparation stages, and institutional requirements that the programs within our Vocational School must fulfill during the accreditation process were discussed in detail. The critical importance of accreditation in terms of increasing the quality of education and institutionalizing the culture of "continuous improvement" was emphasized.
The meeting concluded after the roadmap for the application process was clarified and the opinions of the academic units were received.
