Students from our Vocational School’s Child Care and Youth Services Department organized an event as part of the Vezirköprü Municipality April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day spring festivities.
Our Child Development Program students, in collaboration with the Vezirköprü District Governorship and the Vezirköprü District National Education Directorate, and under the advisement of Lecturer Dr. İlkay GÖKTAŞ and Lecturer Dr. Kübranur VARLIKLIÖZ within the scope of the “Music Education” and “Child Animator” courses, organized a CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL at Vezirköprü Çamlık Park on April 28th. Various activities, ranging from face painting and musical events to traditional games and science activities, were presented to preschool-aged children at the stands opened during the event.
The event was attended by District Governor Mr. Özgür KAYA, Vezirköprü Deputy Mayor Şaban BOLAT, our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Necati TOMAL, Vezirköprü District Police Chief Ahmet ÇELİK, Vezirköprü Oral and Dental Health Center Director Yasin ADIGÜZEL and Chief Physician Dt. Fuat KAPLAN, and District National Education Branch Managers Erkan ULAŞIR and Furkan ÇALIŞKAN.
We thank all institutions and organizations, especially the District Governorship and the District Municipality, for their contribution and participation in the realization of the event, as well as the children and their teachers who attended the festival, and our valuable students who organized and executed the event.
