Our Vocational School's Interior Design Program 2nd-year students organized an **exploration tour** to the historical Taşhan in our district on 09.11.2023 as part of the **Surveying (Rölöve) Course**.
The trip, conducted under the supervision of Lecturer Merve GERÇEK and with the participation of 25 students, included visits to Taşhan, Bedesten (Covered Market), and other historical structures. Observations were made regarding the architectural history and street texture of the district and the structures, reminiscent of the **"Architectural Restoration Techniques"** course.
This trip, the first of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, will continue for approximately four more weeks. Students will frequently connect with the district during their measurement-taking practices, and the course will be completed after four groups of students photograph the historical buildings, conduct archival research, take survey measurements, and finalize the work in the form of reports and drawings.
