Students from our Vocational School’s Interior Design Program organized a significant field trip to Amasya as part of the Architectural Restoration Techniques course.
The trip, which took place on Monday, May 26, 2025, was attended by the Course Instructor Lecturer Dr. Merve Gerçek, Head of Department Lecturer İrfan Peker, Lecturer Dr. Yusuf Alperen Şişman, and the program's students. The trip was highly important for reinforcing the theoretical knowledge students gained in class with practical experience. As part of the architectural restoration techniques course, students—who are knowledgeable about topics such as the documentation of historical structures, material analysis, damage assessment, and restoration interventions—reinforced their knowledge by observing the historical buildings in Amasya's historical texture on-site.
