An education and information event was organized for our vocational school students on 20.12.2023, with the contributions of the District Health Directorate and the Community Mental Health Center, as part of the Social Life Contribution Training Activities.
The event, which saw high participation from vocational school students, began with a speech by Social Worker Zümra BAYGIN on the subject of **"Violence Against Women."** Ms. Baygın addressed numerous topics ranging from types of violence against women to violence prevalence rates in Turkey and the World, as well as the effects and prevention of violence. She concluded her speech after answering questions from the students.
The event continued with a speech by Psychologist Deniz BÜLBÜLLER on **"Child Neglect and Abuse."** Starting with a discussion of children's rights and types of abuse, Mr./Ms. Bülbüller specifically addressed sexual abuse, sharing real-life examples with the students. The speech, which also included information on precautions and necessary actions for preventing child abuse, concluded with applause from the participants.
The event was finalized with thanks from Deputy Director Lecturer Metin KADİM, on behalf of our vocational school, to all the students who participated and to the valued speakers.
