A blood donation campaign organized by the Turkish Red Crescent (Türk Kızılay’ı) was held at our Vocational School on October 8-9, 2024.
In the seminar held in Amphitheater-3 before the blood donation; information was provided on the health importance of blood donation, the conditions required for donation, increasing blood donation awareness in our country, and the importance of blood need in emergencies.
In the blood donation campaign, which took place with the participation and support of our Vocational School staff and students, 95 units of blood were collected. We thank the Turkish Red Crescent personnel for their support in informing, raising awareness, and increasing sensitivity regarding blood donation, as well as our students and staff who donated blood, and those who wished to donate but could not due to not meeting the required criteria.
