The first field trip, as part of the **Field Practices** course, was carried out on April 1, 2022, for the second-year students of the Forestry and Forest Products Program within our Vocational School's Forestry Department. The first of the three planned field applications was organized within the boundaries of the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate and the Akçay Forest Management Sub-Directorate, which is affiliated with the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate.
The field application was attended by students and Forestry Department lecturers Cemile ÇAKIR and Cemil ÖZDEMİR, along with Vezirköprü Forest Management Director Meryem Burçin IRMAK, Vezirköprü Forest Management Deputy Director Ali SÜRMEN, and Vezirköprü Forest Management Sub-Directors Samet KARA, İsa ATIGAN, Mehmet Musab PARLAK, and Ahmet ÇELİK, as well as Forest Rangers.
Within the scope of the field application, detailed information was given to our students on **Forest Fires**, **Forest Pests**, and **Pest Control**, and several practices were demonstrated practically.
