A **"ALUMNI-STUDENT MEETING"** event was organized for the students of our Vocational School's Forestry Department on December 4, 2024, focusing on "Career Planning and Working Life."
The discussion, which featured our department's alumni Hasan ÖZCAN and Burak ÇETİN, who are currently working as Forest Guards at the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate, was attended by the Head of the Forestry Department Lecturer Dr. Cemile ÇAKIR, department faculty member Lecturer Cemil ÖZDEMİR, and department students.
The discussion, which garnered significant interest from department faculty and students, began with the introduction of our alumni. Our alumni described the work they do in their appointed institutions and provided information about situations they might encounter in civil service. They then shared their experiences regarding the preparation process they went through before their appointment, their interview experiences, and answered students' questions on topics they were curious about. The event concluded after a Q&A session and a photo opportunity.
We, as the Academic Staff of the Forestry Department, thank our alumni for making us happy with their participation and hope that these and similar events are beneficial to our students. We wish them continued success in their professional lives.
