Following the decision taken at the District Fire Coordination Board meeting, garbage left at the Çeltek Mesire picnic area was collected as part of the initiative organized by the Vezirköprü District Governorship and the Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate under the slogan **"For a Cleaner Future."**
Within the scope of the **“Clean Environment Movement”** project, organized jointly by the Vezirköprü District Governorship, Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate, Vezirköprü Youth and Sports District Directorate, and Vezirköprü Vocational School, and led by Vezirköprü District Governor Özgür KAYA, garbage was collected from the area, picnickers were warned, awareness was raised about the need to keep our nature clean for a more livable environment, and the objective was to increase environmental cleanliness and nature protection awareness in our district.
The event was attended by Vezirköprü District Governor Özgür Kaya, Deputy Mayor Salih SEFACI, Vezirköprü Forest Management Director Mecit KOÇAK, Vezirköprü Vocational School Deputy Director Lecturer Metin Kadim, Head of the Forestry Department Lecturer Dr. Cemile Çakır, students from the Forestry Department, District Protocol members, and Vezirköprü Forest Management Directorate staff.
