"Grab Your Tea, Dive Into Your Book"
Within the scope of the "Social Responsibility Projects" course for the 2025-2026 Spring Semester, our students carried out the second meaningful activity of the term on April 1, 2026, on the occasion of the 62nd Library Week. Organized with the slogan "Grab your tea, dive into your book," our students came together in the school garden to both read books and enjoy pleasant moments while drinking tea.
The aim of the event, which was also attended by our Vocational School Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afitap Özdelikara, was to encourage the habit of reading and to create social awareness among students. During the program held outdoors, students spent time in a quiet and peaceful environment reading the books they brought, while a warm atmosphere for conversation was fostered with tea service.
The instructors of the course stated that such activities contribute significantly to the social development of students, emphasizing that reading is not only an individual achievement but also a collective gain for society. The participating students expressed their satisfaction with this practice carried out within the scope of the course and stated that they would like similar awareness projects to continue.
We would like to thank all our students who participated in the event for this sensitive and exemplary behavior and wish them continued success.
Field activities within the scope of the Social Responsibility Projects course will continue throughout the semester with different themes.
