Training was provided to our Vocational School students by the Samsun Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate as part of the Disaster Awareness Training, aiming to teach and raise awareness about what needs to be done before, during, and after natural disasters.
The training, attended by our Vocational School's academic staff and students, and given by Ahmet Selim Gerçek, Disaster Awareness Trainer from the Samsun Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate, in our Vocational School's conference hall on May 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM, included information on:
* Definition of the disaster concept,
* Basic concepts related to natural disasters,
* Precautions to be taken against disasters,
* Factors to consider when preparing a disaster and emergency kit,
* Actions to be taken after a disaster,
* Points to consider when volunteering for disaster response, etc.
