An orientation program was organized at our vocational school to ensure that our newly enrolled students adapt quickly to university life and the campus environment for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
The program was held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM in our Vocational School Conference Hall with the attendance of our Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afitap Özdelikara, Assistant Director Lecturer Dr. Filiz Koçoğlu Sağlam, our academic staff, and our newly enrolled students.
Delivering the opening speech, our Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afitap Özdelikara provided evaluations regarding the general structure of our vocational school, our existing departments, the qualifications and competence of our academic staff, and the quality of our education. Emphasizing the importance of a student-centered approach and high-quality education, Özdelikara stated that her door is always open to all our students and wished our new students a successful academic year.
Following the opening address, Assistant Director Lecturer Dr. Filiz Koçoğlu Sağlam delivered a presentation providing detailed information about our vocational school and departments. The presentation covered academic programs, course registration processes, examination systems, academic regulations, as well as physical and technical facilities available to our students.
In the continuation of the program, our student manager of the Academic and Social Development Student Club, who is a student in the Child Development Program, took the stage to inform attendees about the club's objectives, vision, and planned activities for the term. She invited new students to join the club, participate actively, and support upcoming events.
The program concluded after answering students' questions and exchanging good wishes.
