The "National TB Control Program (UTKP)" is being carried out in our country to combat TB (Tuberculosis), parallel to the plans and goals implemented in Europe and the World. As part of the UTKP, active disease screening is conducted in high-risk TB groups. The purpose of this active screening is to detect and treat TB patients in high-risk groups, thereby preventing the spread of infection to healthy individuals. It is planned that university students coming from high-TB-risk countries will be screened for TB in our country, and a pilot study has been initiated in 8 provinces, including ours.
In this context, all international students studying at our vocational school are required to fill out the form specified below and go to the İlkadım Tuberculosis Dispensary (İstiklal Caddesi (Çiftlik caddesi) Karadeniz Mahallesi No:129 İlkadım/Samsun) for an examination. Proof of their examination must be submitted to our vocational school's student affairs office by October 22, 2025.
