
Cooperation protocols that will strengthen collaboration in the fields of education, internship, applied courses, and employment were signed between the Directorate of Vezirköprü Vocational School and the Vezirköprü District Directorate of National Education, the Vezirköprü Directorate of Forestry Operations, and Vezirköprü Orman Ürünleri ve Kağıt Sanayi A.Ş. (Vezirağaç).
The signing ceremony, held on July 17, 2026, at the Meeting Hall of Vezirköprü Vocational School, was attended by Prof. Dr. Çetin Kurnaz, Vice Rector of Ondokuz Mayıs University; Resul Özata, Vezirköprü District Director of National Education; Mecit Koçak, Vezirköprü Director of Forestry Operations; Berker Duygulu, Human Resources Manager of Vezirköprü Orman Ürünleri ve Kağıt Sanayi A.Ş.; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afitap Özdelikara, Director of Vezirköprü Vocational School; the academic staff and school secretary of our vocational school, along with representatives of the local press.
Within the scope of the signed protocols, it is aimed for our students to carry out their compulsory in-term practices and summer internships in real working environments within the relevant institutions, to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice, to gain professional experience, and to acquire work discipline. In addition, within the framework of the protocol signed with Vezirağaç, a consensus has been reached on cooperation regarding the employment of our graduate students within certain quotas.
Following the signing of the protocols, the ceremony concluded with the sharing of mutual good wishes and a commemorative photo session.
