A comprehensive field inspection has been carried out within our Vocational School as part of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) studies conducted to ensure the sustainability of a safe working and educational environment.

The technical inspections, conducted by OMÜ Occupational Health and Safety Board Member and Occupational Safety Specialist Saffet İnan, were accompanied by Vocational School Secretary Halil Çalışkan.

Technical Inspection and Risk Analysis

During the inspections, all areas across the campus, particularly laboratories, workshops, classrooms, and administrative offices, were meticulously reviewed. The following priority topics were emphasized during the inspection:

  • Compliance of current physical conditions with OHS legislation,
  • Safety standards and periodic controls of technical equipment,
  • Emergency evacuation plans and equipment adequacy,
  • Identification of corrective actions to prevent potential risks at the source.

Planned Improvement Process

In line with the findings and planning, it is aimed to promptly address all deficiencies and ensure the highest safety standards for all stakeholders, from staff to students.

Our Vocational School will determinedly continue to promote OHS culture as an institutional discipline for a healthy and safe campus life.
