ABOUT DEPARTMENT
• The Department of Child Care and Youth Services consists of two programs: Child Development (Daytime Education) and Child Development (Evening Education).
• Within a global standard education system, the Child Development program aims to train assistant teachers who can support children's skills and behaviors, foster their talents, and work for the benefit of society. Our students gain expertise in recognizing children in preschool and special education institutions, and providing training in areas like computing, drama, and music.
• Graduates have the opportunity to work as assistant teachers, teachers, and administrators in preschool education institutions, social service-affiliated organizations, and special education centers in both the public and private sectors.
• Graduates can transfer to 4-year undergraduate programs such as Child Development and Preschool Teaching through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
