ABOUT DEPARTMENT
• The Department of Forestry, specifically the Forestry and Forest Products program, began its educational activities in the 2013-2014 academic year, offering both daytime and evening education. The program accepts approximately 100 students annually.
• Students in the Forestry and Forest Products Program receive an application-oriented education focused on the cultivation, maintenance, inventory, harvesting, and marketing of all types of wood and non-wood forest products.
• Our graduates are employed as Forest Guards within the General Directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, or as Forestry Technicians in the private sector.
• Graduates have the right to transfer to undergraduate programs such as Forest Engineering, Forest Industry Engineering, and Wood Products Industrial Engineering through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
