About the Department
- Department of Forestry, Forestry and Forest Products program affiliated with the department was opened in 2013 and since the 2013-2014 academic year, I. Education and II. He started education in the form of teaching. The Forestry and Forest Products program accepts 100 students every year. Additionally, the department also has a Hunting and Wildlife Program, but it is currently inactive as it does not accept students.
- Students who will train in the Forestry and Forest Products Program will receive an application-oriented education on the cultivation, maintenance, inventory, harvesting and marketing of all kinds of wood and non-wood forest products, and will primarily meet the need for professional technical staff in these subjects.
- Graduates of this program work as Forest Conservation Officers in the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and relevant General Directorates and as Forest Technicians in the private sector.
- Graduates of the department have the right to transfer to Woodworking Industrial Engineering, Forest Industry Engineering, and Forest Engineering undergraduate programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam.
