Accounting and Taxation Department

• The Accounting and Tax Department offers the Accounting and Tax Applications Program

• The department's objective is to train skilled Accounting Professionals who possess the necessary knowledge and competence to: stay informed about current developments in the field of accounting; be proficient in computerized accounting programs; master the fundamental concepts and system of accounting; recognize and effectively use the documents utilized in accounting records; understand the operation of balance sheet and income statement accounts and how to prepare these financial statements; and produce rational solutions for business problems from an accounting perspective.

• Graduates of the Accounting and Tax Department can find employment opportunities in the accounting, finance, and auditing units of large organizations; in the offices of independent accountants (Serbest Muhasebeci), financial advisors (Mali Müşavir), and sworn financial advisors (Yeminli Mali Müşavir); and in the accounting departments of various public and private sector companies such as banks, insurance companies, finance companies, tourism, construction, and industrial enterprises.

• Department graduates can transfer to many four-year undergraduate programs, including Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, International Finance, and similar fields, through the Vertical Transfer Examination (📜 Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS)).
