An event was held for our vocational school students on 29.12.2023, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şener ŞENTÜRK, a faculty member from the Educational Sciences Department of our University's Faculty of Education, as part of the Social Life Contribution Training Activities.
The event, attended by vocational school academic staff and students, began with an introductory speech by Lecturer Gökhan SALMAN. Taking the floor after the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şener ŞENTÜRK began his presentation by addressing the changes in our world in the 21st century and touched upon many topics concerning what the young generation should do and pay attention to in order to keep up with this change. In his speech, Şentürk specifically addressed how young people can acquire the skills necessary for the 21st century, the professions of the future, and the necessity of planning the future well. He concluded his speech after answering questions posed by the students.
The event was finalized with a thank you speech by our School Director Prof. Dr. Necati TOMAL, on behalf of our vocational school, to all participating students and our valued speaker, followed by a photo session for commemorating the event.
