The first External Stakeholder Meeting of 2026, organized to strengthen the educational vision and regional collaborations of our Vocational School, was held on March 3, 2026, in the Vocational School meeting hall, chaired by the District Governor, Mr. Özgür Kaya.
The meeting was hosted by our School Director, Assoc. Prof. Afitap Özdelikara, and attended by School Secretary Halil Çalışkan. Participants included Mehmet Gülburun (Deputy Mayor of Vezirköprü), Resul Özata (District Director of National Education), Niyazi Aksoy (Deputy Director of Forest Operations), Halil Duman (Forest Operations Chief), and Berker Duygulu (Human Resources Manager of Vezirköprü Forest Products and Paper Ind. Inc.).
Highlights and Decisions
- Continuous Collaboration: It was decided that the External Stakeholder Board will meet periodically, at least twice a year.
- Protocol Preparation: It was agreed to create draft protocols with stakeholders to support educational and training activities.
- Student Support: The inclusion of incentive clauses in the protocols, such as graduate employment and transportation support to practical application sites, was adopted.
- Institutional Identity: The new Mission, Vision, and Core Values of our Vocational School were approved by the consensus of the stakeholders.
We would like to thank all commission members, especially our District Governor Mr. Özgür Kaya, for supporting the development of our school with their participation and valuable contributions.
